I’m back from the LA area. It was a blast. It started off with going to the Honda Civic concert [Phantom Planet, The Hush Sound, Motion City Soundtrack, and Panic at the Disco]. It was a great show, last one of the tour, so a lot of band antics. I saw all of the bands milling about before and after the show except for MCS, too bad. The only part of the show I didn’t like was a chubby father that was in front of me distorting the view, when ever I moved he moved. A little note to all, if you are in your 60s and seeing a band with your wife please do not think its cool to get drunk and wear a purple band tee.

California Adventure and Disneyland were lots of fun. Favorite fast rides are Space Mountain and California Sceamin’. I would never get tired of them. I had a goofy grin on my face the whole time of Space Mt, there was a picture to prove it too… I don’t know what he meant by it, but as i was taking a picture of the castle at night a guy asked me if i was taking a picture of my house. I also think Aladdin was flirting with me during the play haha. I made fun of kids on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride behind their backs, it was very amusing. If they ever shut up i am sure they would have heard me.

Hollywood and Beverly Hills was fun. I wanted to stop to get a post card for Christina on the Hollywood walk of fame. As I was walking a guy stopped me in front of a Virgin Record store saying that I should come in and see the Fratellis preform. I didn’t believe him at first so i went on to get my post card, but as i came back again i decided to stop in. They were there! They were preforming their new cd. I only got to hear a few songs because i was running out of time, but it was awesome!

I’m pretty sure I saw Yoda and the Scream guy doing a drug deal on the Walk of Fame just 20 feet from a guy in a loin cloth with a snake.

Before I went home, we stopped by Sprinkles cupcakes. You can’t go down to LA with out getting a few of those. The are yummy as always, I still have a few left.
